David Patrick is the founder-owner of the Insider. He works with a network of experienced partners to deliver tailored consulting services to our clients.

David has over 25 years’ global experience in line management and leadership positions with Procter & Gamble, General Motors and Johnson & Johnson.  The common factor in all those years was continuous change in complex organizational environments. His first assignment with Procter & Gamble in Germany 25 years ago was a culture change initiative. Since then he has led and helped implement many organizational initiatives in multinational contexts including relocations/closures, start-ups, new systems and business process implementations, restructurings, vision-setting, role and responsibility alignments, cultural change programs, and the introduction of high performance work teams. His last position with Johnson & Johnson was as Global Planning Director for the $1bn Advanced Sterilization Products division where he led teams across the globe and led the streamlining of the business through a major divestment.

David is a certified Scrum Master, a certified Tavistock Practitioner (Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, London), a certified Organization Development Practitioner (NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science) and is an Insights® Discovery Licensed Practitioner.

David is fluent in German and English and has lived in the UK, Belgium, Germany, French-speaking Switzerland, and German-speaking Switzerland. He has a BEng. and MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from London University (UCL), and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne.
